Koodo's Refer-a-Friend Program


Here's how it works:

  1. Fill out the Refer-a-Friend form to tell your friends and family (your referrals) about Koodo and send them a referral code by email.
  2. Your referrals should go to koodomobile.com, buy a phone and select a plan.
  3. When the phone is delivered, it can be activated for free by calling 1-866-99-KOODO (1-866-995-6636).
  4. Once activated, your referrals needs to fill out a form and enter their referral code.
  5. 4-6 weeks from the activation of your referrals' account with Koodo, up to 25 Tab credits can be applied to your account as well as to your referrals' account as part of Koodo's Refer-a-Friend Program (the Program).
  6. You and your referrals have to accept the Program Terms to participate in the Program.

Program Terms

Koodo Mobile is a business name of TELUS Communications Company and that "Koodo Mobile" means TELUS Communications Company. "You" and "your" means Koodo customers who choose to participate in this Program.

  • To make a referral as part of the Program, you must be a current Koodo Mobile customer.
     
  • All referrals have to be made using the "Send a Referral" form.
     
  • When you submit your Refer-a-Friend Form, a referral code will be sent to the people you have referred (your referrals). The referral code can only be used once and only by the referral who received the referral email from you.
     
  • Your referrals must purchase a phone and plan online at koodomobile.com within 30 days of receiving the referral email in order for both of you to be eligible to receive Koodo Tab credits (the referral credits) as part of this Program.
     
  • Up to 25 Tab credits will be applied to your account as well as to the new customer's account, 4-6 weeks after the referral has activated their service with Koodo Mobile. To be eligible for the referral credit, both of you must keep your service active and in good standing during this period.
     
  • The referral credit is not available for referring existing customers (the referral must be a new Koodo Mobile customer). The referral code must be received before the referral activates their Koodo mobile phone.
     
  • Referrals cannot accept more than 1 referral offer as part of this Program. If they receive multiple offers, a credit will be applied to the account of the current Koodo customer whose referral they accepted through the Program.
     
  • Koodo Tab balances cannot exceed +150, regardless of the number of people you may refer as part of this Program. For example, if you have a +140 Tab balance and you refer a friend, the maximum number of referral credits you could receive is 10 (140 + 10 = 150).
     
  • To participate in this Program and to be eligible for the referral credit, you must (i) explain the Program to your referrals and obtain consent from each referral to use their personal information for the purpose of sending them the referral email and (ii) abide by these Program Terms. Referrals must provide consent to use of their personal information in order to participate in the Program.
     
  • Koodo assumes no responsibility for lost, delayed, damaged or misdirected referrals or communications or for any failure of the website, for any problems or technical malfunction of any computer online systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or referral to be received by Koodo on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to a your (or any other person's) computer related to or resulting from this program. Koodo reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, cancel or suspend this program should a virus, bug or other cause beyond the reasonable control of Koodo, corrupt the security or proper administration of the program or for any other reason. Referrals are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are illegible, unintelligible, falsified, altered or tampered with or unlawful in any way. Referrals submitted by unauthorised means will be disqualified. In the event that it has been determined that a referral has been made in a manner not sanctioned by these terms, you and all of you referrals will be disqualified from this program and any referral credits that have been awarded will be deducted. You agree to abide by the terms of this program and the decisions of the Koodo team, which are final. This program is subject to all applicable laws and regulations.
     
  • Koodo Mobile may end the Program or change any of the terms at any time, without notice and without obligation to award any referral credits.
     
  • Koodo team members, contractors and sales representatives acting on Koodo's behalf are excluded from this Program.
